Power Ethernet exhibits at OneLAN

15 June 2011 – The Power Ethernet team will be at the OneLAN digital signage event in Henley-on-Thames on 22nd June 2011 with a prototype of the PE Socket.

Demand for digital signage to display information, advertising and other marketing materials is growing quickly, expanding beyond shopping centres, retailers and transport locations to banks, cinemas, night clubs and museums. The displays are usually controlled by a server over a network, which is where the PE Socket comes in. The PE Sockets are a highly effective solution for Digital Signage installers as screens are usually located in places, like building receptions, where installers would need to dig up floors to run additional data cabling. However, power sockets were usually specified as part of the original building design so PE sockets can be easily retro-fitted.

Update: Over half of the people visiting our stand placed pre-orders for the PE Socket!
